Why Choose Me?

Why Choose Me?

After 30 years working in the corporate world, I have chosen to spend the rest of my career giving back to those who are in need of help, support and guidance in shaping the next chapter(s) of their life.

My practice as a LifeWork® consultant means:

  • I take a humanistic approach to my practice.
  • I have experienced what life and work throws at you.
  • I listen and will not judge.
  • I will focus on what matters to you.
  • I make my services accessible to all.
  • I am here to help you, directly or indirectly.
  • My philosophy and experience is outlined below - you decide.

My Philosophy

Make LifeWork®

Put Life First

My purpose is simple - it is to use my wisdom to help others lead a better life.

I have tried to learn from my personal and professional experiences to make sense of why I have ups and downs.

I have realised that life changes constantly, year by year, month by month, week by week, day by day, hour by hour. Nothing is permanent, everything is temporary, the good times and the bad times.

I have also come to terms with the truth of what I can and can't control. Once I awakened my senses to that reality, I opened up a whole new world of possibility.

That realisation and awakening gave me so much joy that I knew I wanted to give others the opportunity to see things differently too.

Creating a mindset and lifestyle that enables us to deal with this gives a foundation for a happier, healthier and more sustainable life.

My Experience

30 years in financial and professional services

Wisdom developed through the art and experience of human leadership

My experiences in both my professional and personal life, combined with my passion for giving comfort and support to those who need it, have led me to where I am today and why I practice as I do.

Whilst I have a wealth of knowledge, skills and experience from my working career and many successes I can share, my key credentials for practicing in this way come from having to handle the harder aspects of life that are all too frequently hidden from view.

I have over 30 years experience of working in the corporate world and understand the highs and lows this can bring. Navigating the world of work is tough and finding the right type of help from someone who has been there and has 'walked the walk' is not always easy.

I have coached and supported the personal and professional development of people at all levels, from school leavers and graduates through to line managers, senior managers and directors.

I have also worked alongside executives and partners of organisations so have a broad spectrum of insight in how people operate and how their behaviours can be influenced and impacted by their environment and those they work with or for.

I have also experienced significant ups and downs in my personal life that have at times been incredibly traumatic and I have come out the other side with a better understanding of how to deal with what life throws at you. This experience is priceless and one that has given me a wisdom that I now want to share with others in the hope it will offer better options and a pathway to a more harmonious and fulfilled life.

My LifeWork® practice is humanistic, supported by utilising the experiences and wisdom I have built up during my career. This provides both flexibility and structure and ensures every connection is focused on generating actions that will enable positive change.
